You Get Through the Shift… But the shift Doesn’t Leave You

You handle everything while you’re there.

Short-staffed.
Too many patients.
Too many things happening at once.

You move fast.
You prioritize.
You keep it together—because you have to.

And a lot of what you’re dealing with now…

Isn’t even what you were trained for.

You spend as much time fighting a computer screen as you do caring for patients.

Charting.
Clicking.
Documenting everything—so it’s defensible, billable, complete.

All while the real work keeps coming.

And there are moments that stay with you.

The patient you didn’t have enough time for.
The change you wish you had caught earlier.
The conversation you had to rush.

Not because you didn’t care—

But because there wasn’t enough of you to go around.

And sometimes it feels like you’re being forced to choose—

Who gets your attention… and who has to wait

You do everything you can.

And still, it doesn’t always feel like enough.

You don’t talk about it.

You just move on.

Next task.
Next room.
Next shift.

You deal with situations most people never see.

Difficult patients.
Demanding families.
Moments where you have to stay calm no matter what’s happening.

Even when you’re absorbing everything coming at you.

And underneath all of it…

There’s another kind of pressure.

The reality of working in South Florida—

Where the cost of living keeps rising
And the margin for error in your life keeps shrinking

So even when the shift ends… Your mind doesn’t.

You get home, and your body is done—

But your head is still going.

Replaying things.
Thinking about patients.
Running through what you could have done differently.

Sometimes even thinking about everything waiting for you outside the hospital.

You try to relax.

But you can’t fully drop out of it.

There’s still something there.

A tension.
A mental noise.
A sense that you’re still “on.”

And it starts to show up in other ways.

You’re more drained than you should be.
More reactive than you want to be.
Less present with the people around you.

Sometimes you just want to be left alone.

Sleep doesn’t always reset you.

You rest… but you don’t fully recover.

Especially when your schedule keeps shifting—

Days, nights, back again.

And over time… Something changes.

You don’t quite feel like yourself anymore.

And maybe the hardest part is—

You’re still showing up.

Still doing your job. Still holding it together.

Even in a system that keeps asking more from you... without giving you what you need back

But no one ever taught you how to let it go when it’s over.

If That Felt Familiar The RN Reset is for You

If you recognized yourself in what you just read…

You don’t need another explanation.

You already know what this feels like.

And you also know this: It’s not that you can’t handle it. You’ve been handling it.

The problem is… It doesn’t leave you.

It stays in your head.
In your body.
In your system.

Long after the shift is over.

And nothing you’ve been told to do

“relax,” “disconnect,” “self-care”

actually touches that.

I’ve spent the last 30 years working with people in high-pressure environments, people who are expected to stay sharp, composed, and in control no matter what’s happening around them.

What you’re experiencing is not unusual; it’s not a personal weakness.

It’s what happens when you’re constantly operating in high demand…

Without a way to actually reset afterward.

And there is a way to change that: The RN Reset.

This is not a lecture, and definitely not another set of tips.

This is a structured, guided experience designed to help your system do something most nurses never get the chance to do: Actually reset.

For three hours... You are the one being taken care of.

No alarms.
No charting.
No one asking you for anything.

Just a focused process that helps you:

Shut off the constant “on” state
Release what you’ve been carrying
And return to a place that actually feels calm, clear, and steady

So you can leave feeling like yourself again—

You’ve been holding it together for everyone else, The RN Reset is where you finally get to let it go.

What Happens During The RN Reset

This is not a lecture. You won’t be taking notes or sitting through slides. This is a guided, in-person experience designed to help your nervous system actually reset.

We begin by helping you come out of the constant “on” state, the same state you’ve been in all shift. From there, you’re led step by step through a process that allows your mind and body to slow down and start releasing what it’s been holding.

As the session progresses, you’ll enter a deeply relaxed, controlled state where things begin to shift naturally. The mental replay starts to quiet down. The tension in your body begins to drop. Your system, for the first time in a while, is given the space to settle.

This isn’t about forcing yourself to think differently. It’s about allowing your system to do what it hasn’t had the chance to do on its own.

Throughout the experience, you’ll also learn simple, practical ways to reset yourself during or after a shift, interrupt the mental carryover, and bring your system back to a calmer, more controlled state when things escalate. Nothing complicated. Nothing you have to figure out later. Just tools you can actually use in real time, in real situations.

And by the end of the three hours, something becomes very clear: your mind feels quieter, your body feels lighter, and you feel like yourself again.

Who This Is For—and Why I Do This Work

My name is Flavio Souza-Campos, MD, PhD. For over 30 years, I’ve worked with people in high-pressure environments—individuals who are expected to stay focused, composed, and in control no matter what is happening around them. Professionals who don’t have the option of falling apart in the moment.

Over that time, I’ve conducted more than 44,000 sessions helping people learn how to manage what happens internally, especially when the demands on them don’t stop. Because the reality is this: most high-performing professionals are extensively trained in how to handle what’s happening around them, but almost never taught how to handle what stays with them afterward.

That’s where things begin to wear people down. Not in their ability to perform, but in their ability to recover.

That is the work I’ve dedicated my career to. Not motivation. Not surface-level wellness. But practical, repeatable ways to help your mind and body return to a state that actually feels calm, clear, and under control.

This workshop was created specifically for nurses because few professions demand as much, as consistently, as yours does. And because you deserve more than being told to “take care of yourself” without ever being shown how to actually do it.

Frequently Asked Questions

“Will this actually work for me?”

If you’ve been working in a high-pressure environment and feel like you’re still carrying the shift with you after you leave, this is exactly what this was designed for. You don’t need to be good at relaxing or “clearing your mind.” You just need to show up. The process is guided and works with how your system already operates.

“I’ve tried other things before. What makes this different?”

Most approaches focus on thinking differently or adding more routines to your day. This is different. It focuses on helping your system actually reset, so the mental and emotional carryover doesn’t stay with you in the first place.

“I’m too busy right now.”

That’s exactly why this matters. When your schedule is full and the demands don’t stop, having a way to reset becomes essential. This is a single 3-hour block designed to give you something you can use immediately.

“Can I get reimbursed for this?”

Yes. For those who select the VIP Professional Reset, we provide a formal Certificate of Completion and a professional invoice. Many South Florida healthcare systems (Baptist, Jackson, Memorial, UHealth) allow you to use professional development or well-being funds for clinical stress management workshops.

“I’ve never done hypnosis before. What is it like?”

You remain aware and in control the entire time. Most people experience it as a deeply relaxed, focused state—similar to the moments right before you fall asleep, but guided with a specific purpose.

“What if something comes up and I can’t attend?”

We understand that schedules can change. Full refunds are available up to 72 hours before the event. If you are called into a mandatory shift last minute, we will apply your credit to a future session or a private consultation.

A Final Thought from Dr. Flavio

You’ve spent the last few years being told to “be resilient.” But real resilience isn’t about carrying more, it’s about knowing how to put it down.

If you don’t have a way to reset after a shift, the work stays with you. It affects your sleep, your relationships, and how you feel day to day.

You take care of everyone else.

On April 18th, let us take care of you.
