Dr. FLAVIO CLINICAL HYPNOSIS - THE PROCESS

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

Discovery → Intensive → Integration → Your New Life

Whatever brings you to me, whether it's anxiety, a habit, a relationship, a life transition, or something you can't quite name, the work itself is tailored to you. No two people's sessions look the same.

What stays the same is how we work together: how we begin, how the work is structured, and how fees are handled.

After nearly three decades and more than 44,000 sessions, I've found that one clear structure serves everyone best. People rarely come to me with just one problem. They come in the middle of a transition, and the issue that brought them in is usually connected to everything else in their life. A single, consistent structure lets the work go wherever it needs to go.

That structure has three phases:

Discovery.
Intensive.
Integration.

It's written down, it's explicit, and there are no surprises. You'll know exactly how the work is structured and what it costs before we begin.

(The only exceptions are occasional special programs, which describe their own fee structure on their own pages.)

PHASE 1: DISCOVERY

Investment: $300 for two sessions

Discovery is where everyone begins.

It answers two questions: Does hypnosis work for you? And are we the right fit to work together?

In our first session, we talk about what's happening in your life, why you're seeking help now, and what may lie underneath the immediate problem. Then you experience hypnosis.

This is not simply a consultation. We begin working.

We meet again within 72 hours. Hypnosis often keeps working after you leave: thoughts, feelings, insights, changes in sleep, memories, or questions can surface in the days that follow. The second session lets us understand how you responded and continue the work.

At the end of Discovery, I'll tell you honestly what I recommend.

There is no obligation to continue beyond the Discovery, but the follow-up session is necessary. The Discovery fee of $300 cover both sessions.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER DISCOVERY?

Discovery is designed to answer the question of fit in two sessions, not ten.

You may find that what you received was enough.

You may prefer to see me occasionally for supportive sessions, without entering deeper work.

Or we may both recognize that what brought you here reflects a deeper pattern you genuinely want to change. In that case, the next step is the Intensive.

People sometimes ask for a few more sessions to "try it out" first, or for a single session to fix "one small thing." In thirty years, I've rarely seen either approach produce lasting change. If the fit is right, we begin deeper work.

PHASE 2: THE INTENSIVE

Investment: $1,800 for the first month

The Intensive is where change happens.

When we enter the Intensive, we make a deliberate commitment to work with the underlying patterns, beliefs, emotional responses, and learned behaviors that keep recreating the problem.

The objective is not simply relaxation.

It is not simply insight.

It is not simply helping you feel better for a few days.

The objective is actual change.

WHY IT'S INTENSIVE

Change takes intensity. Think of the gym: if you want real results, you don't train once a month. You train several times a week, consistently, until the change takes hold.

The same is true here. During the Intensive, we may meet three or four times a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on what the work requires.

WHY I SET THE SCHEDULE

At the end of almost every session, you will feel good. That's part of how hypnosis works. And if I asked you then, "When would you like to come back?", you would probably say, "I think I'm fine."

But feeling good is not the same as being finished.

So during the Intensive, I decide when we meet next, based on what happened in that session. Sometimes that means tomorrow morning. Sometimes it means a few days from now. It depends on what the work needs. Naturally we work around your obligations, but realistically, true change requires intensity.

A good personal trainer works the same way. If you tell a trainer what you want to achieve, the trainer doesn't ask how often you'd like to show up. The trainer tells you what it will take. The expert sets the plan.

WHY ONE MONTHLY FEE

Because I never want money or finances to dictate the frequency of sessions.

If I charged per session, every recommendation to come back sooner would look like a sales pitch, and every choice to come in less often would be a financial decision instead of a clinical one.

One monthly fee removes money from the decision. Whether we meet eight times that month or sixteen, the fee is the same. The only question is what the work requires.

WHY THE INTENSIVE CAN'T BE PAID SESSION BY SESSION

Deep change work is a process, not a series of separate appointments. Each session builds on the last, and the timing matters.

That kind of work depends on commitment and continuity. When I tell you I need to see you tomorrow morning, you need to be there tomorrow morning.

Think of surgery: once the operation begins, you don't leave the hospital until the surgeon says it's safe. Starting deep work and stopping midway isn't neutral. It can leave you more unsettled than when you started.

So I offer the Intensive only as a monthly commitment, never session by session. That isn't a payment preference. It's what responsible work requires.

HOW LONG DOES THE INTENSIVE TAKE?

Most people complete the Intensive in one month.

Some need a second month, usually at a slightly lower intensity. The second month is $1,500.

Very few people need a third month.

Time doesn't move you through the process. Progress does.

PHASE 3: INTEGRATION

Investment: $1,000 per month

Changing a pattern is one thing.

Living differently because that pattern has changed is another.

Years ago, when someone completed the intensive work, I would simply let them go. Too often, old patterns crept back. Not because the change wasn't real, but because their life hadn't yet caught up with it.

Think of braces. Once the teeth have moved, the orthodontist doesn't just send you home. You wear a retainer, so the change holds.

Integration is the retainer.

By the time you complete the Intensive, you're not quite the same person who walked in. Your relationships, your work, your decisions, and your everyday life begin to look different. Integration gives us time to work with that transition: reinforcing what has changed, addressing situations as they arise, and catching old responses if they try to return.

We gradually taper the frequency of our sessions, usually over one to four months, depending on many factors.

HOW YOU'LL KNOW YOU'RE READY

The goal is not to keep you in the process; the goal is for you to no longer need it.

The goal is for you to go live your life.

Discovery → Intensive → Integration → Your New Life

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT THE INTENSIVE?

That's completely fine.

Not everyone wants intensive change work. After Discovery, you may choose to see me occasionally for individual sessions.

Individual sessions: $250 each

These sessions are useful for relaxation, encouragement, focused support, working through a particular situation, or simply having a place to stop, talk, and experience hypnosis.

But there is an important distinction:

Individual sessions are not a pay-as-you-go version of the Intensive. They are a different kind of work.

Because individual sessions carry no commitment to continuity, I don't begin deep change work in them. We talk, we use relaxation and supportive hypnosis, and you leave feeling better. What we don't do is open the deeper patterns that require follow-through.

If you want change, choose the Intensive.

If you want support, individual sessions are there for you.

Neither is a lesser version of the other. They serve different purposes.

YOUR ROLE IN THE PROCESS

Hypnosis is not something I do to you while you remain passive.

The work requires your participation.

You bring your honesty, willingness, attention, decisions, and responsibility for your life.

I bring nearly three decades of experience, more than 44,000 sessions, and the interventions, questions, challenges, and guidance needed to help you through the process.

I cannot promise a particular outcome. No responsible practitioner can.

But I can promise that the work will have a purpose. We will know what we are working toward, why we are doing what we are doing, and when it is time to move forward.

WHERE WE BEGIN

You don't have to decide today whether you want the Intensive or Integration.

You don't have to commit to months of work.

And you don't have to understand what's underneath the problem before contacting me.

Everyone begins with Discovery: two sessions for $300.

You experience the work, we learn what's happening, and I'll tell you honestly what I recommend.

WHERE WE MEET

I see clients both in person, at professional offices in South and Central Florida, and online over secure video.

Your first Discovery session takes place online. That lets us begin quickly, wherever you are. Your private meeting link is sent automatically when you book.

From there, we decide together where we'll meet, based on where you live, your schedule, and what the work requires. For many clients, that means in person. For others, online works best, especially during the Intensive, when we may need to meet on short notice.
